Please see one of the executive board members for the poster board
Since there is not enough people to help out, it was decided at the last meeting that the each team must make their own sign.
Volunteers are still needed if they want to participate on the float.
A budget for the parade was set at $250
We will be ordering T-shirts from G&G
Sovereign Bank has been asked to donate 28 T-Shirts again for us this year, we’re waiting a reply.
Colors will remain the same to coordinate with our League logo colors.
We are still looking into a temporary fence to be used for the Home Run Derby.
The balls this year for the Derby will be 11” yellow balls.
We may need volunteers to help with the 50/50 and the Home Run Derby.
The League will be selling CWSL Koozies to help raise money for the league.
All Star Votes are due by 7/11/06. All teams are required to email the votes in by that night to the website email. carverwomenssoftball@yahoo.com and teams will be chosen at the next league meeting, 7/13/06.
Please see an executive board member with any questions.
The All Star Ballot will be 4 member from each team plus you should choose one alternate.
Golf Tournament
We need all teams to try and get hole sponsors and donations.
The Flyers and forms are on line ready to be printed.
New fundraiser:
The helicoptor drop will be a new money maker for us this year at the golf tournament. We will need all players to try and sell golf balls that will be dropped from the helicoptor. The closest ball to the hole will be the winner. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize will be awarded. More details to come.
Fundraiser White Water Rafting Trip
The deadline for the trip is June 21.
REMINDERS:
Clean up parking lots at the end of the night.
-Do not leave Beer cans and trash on the ground.
Coaches must verify scores after each inning with the opposing coach.
The Home Team is responsible for getting the scores to Roberta Dirado at carverwomenssoftball@yahoo.com.
That is a privately owned club and they have stressed to us that they will not allow any drinking in the parking lot or by the field. They are generous enough to let us use the field for free. Their drink prices are very reasonable and all players are welcome to go into the club and have a few beers.
