Golf/Scholarship Committee Update
a.
Update from each team-Do we have any donations, golfers
yet?? Collect forms &
$

Spread the
word to your team mates-get donations and golfers-It really is a great time-and
a good cause! We need everyone’s support to make this event a success – and
FUN!!! At the last meeting we
talked about if everyone in the league just got 1 sponsor / raffle item then we
would have a good turn out. Please
remind everyone of this.

Incentive
for most donations?
Free round of drinks for the
team that has the most points.
Points will be awarded the following way
5pts – team of golfers (4) –
must make a group, nothing awarded for 1-3 golfers
4 pts – any sponsor worth
over $100.00
3pts – hole
sponsor
2pts – donation under $ 100.00 and any raffle
item

next year?
Less candy. More water. Suggested that kids are not allowed to
get off float only adults. Also
more signs for the 2nd and 3rd floats to show that they
were from CWSL. Make more
signs.
6. All-Star Game
a.
Update on shirt order – have they been ordered? When will they be
ready?
Shirts done and picked up. Brought them to meeting to show. Will hand out to each All Star at the
game.
b.
Reps to come to 7/10/07 meeting with All-Star selections
(4 per team and 1 alternate).
Collected All Star names and
positions.
c.
Do we need to do anything more for field use-pick up key
for lights from
All
set, Barry to have light box unlocked we will turn lights on and off and then
the ranger will come later in night to lock box. Called the park department and spoke
with Patti and she said that the lawn will be mowed for Saturday night
game
d.
Discuss coaches.
Because Southers (1st place) isn’t in league
it will go to the 2nd and 3rd place teams from last
season. So

Fence for HR Derby. Balls. New throwing
game.
Mark to hook us up with fencing…….. Balls from last year…….. New throwing game idea from Tra the umpire. Rules will be written on paper before Saturday.
