  • Send Bill B a card
  • Updated Natalie on the golf tournament since the rest of the attendees were all present for a golf meeting the night before.
  • $75 the night of banquet to the team who has the most points for donations. Upland is currently ahead by just a few points.
  • Updated Treasurers report – suggestion to keep league funds on one page and scholarship funds on another.
  • Umpires are all paid for the 2007 season except for the all star game and Roberta will send check out to Mike ASAP.

 

NEW BUSINESS

·        Talked about expenses – how much money we have left.  Time to give back to the teams or somewhere else.  Should we invest in the carver fields?  Kerri spoke to Marie – maybe converting men’s & women’s field into little league fields and building fields for adults else where in town.

·        Talked about increasing registration fee by $20 to forget the golf tournament.  Any suggestions for fundraisers?

·        Porta potties – paid by the men, Tony maint $10- ph, purchase street fields.  Get something in writing from the men and we might be willing to help out money wise

·        Kerri to call Tony Lopez – discuss fields

·        Roberta awarded BM Landscaping first place funds of $500, check payable to G & G Silk-screening.

·        Spoke and voted for 1st place team for the season and to give trophy for having that title.

·        Coaches award - Bill Richards to head collecting the names and to call into Crown trophy in Pembroke.

·        Roberta to send email to confirm with bill.

·        Spoke and voted to get gift cards $400.00 – 16 $25 gift cards for banquet.  Lori will do the shopping for cards

·        Wal-Mart card for Lynn.

·        Each team needs to award 2 trophies, names to be collected and place order.  Deadline for trophies will be 8/10

·        Guest fee due by 9/4 at next meeting. No exceptions.  Count needed to be given to elks club.

·        Roberta to check size of screen with DJ and size of room with Elks

·        Kerri to find out which room we are in up or down.

·        Next meeting 9/4, nominations for officers at next meeting
